Your Morocco 9-day tour adventure begins as you land at one of the airports in Morocco. This Morocco 9-Day tour itinerary is ideal for starting in Casablanca, Marrakech, or Tangier.

Upon your arrival at Casablanca Airport, the Morocco Luxury Tours driver will greet you at the gate, holding a sign with your name. Depending on your arrival time, if you land in the morning, we will begin with a sightseeing tour of Casablanca. You’ll explore the city’s culture, history, and key landmarks, including the Medina, the impressive Hassan II Mosque (one of the largest in the world), the Sqala, and the charming Habous district

• Overnight in a luxury hotel in Casablanca

We will drive from Casablanca to Rabat, where we will explore the Hassan Tower, the Udayas Kasbah, and Bab Challa. Afterward, we will head to Volubilis to visit the ancient Roman ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage site founded in the 40s BC. These ruins are among the best-preserved in North Africa, featuring impressive buildings, palaces, baths, and beautiful mosaics set amidst scenic green fields. After exploring Volubilis, we’ll continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, for a short city tour and lunch. We’ll then drive to Fes, where you’ll spend the night.

• Overnight in a Luxury Riad in Fes

After breakfast in your Luxury Riad, set off on a private sightseeing tour of Fes with a local guide. You’ll explore the cultural and religious heart of the Kingdom, walking through the winding streets of the ancient Medina. Discover its Moorish architecture and visit key sites like the Bu Inanya mosque, madrassas, Nejarin Square, and its beautiful fountain. In the handicraft quarters, see artisans crafting leather and pottery using age-old techniques. The tour also includes a visit to the historic Jewish quarter, showcasing the peaceful coexistence of Muslim and Jewish communities.

• Overnight in Fes

Today, we head towards the desert. After breakfast and checkout, we’ll drive to Merzouga, which takes about 7 hours. Although it’s a long journey, the changing landscapes make it enjoyable. Our first stop will be Ifrane, known for its European-style climate, parks, lakes, and chalets. It’s also a ski resort in winter, earning it the nickname "Moroccan Switzerland." Near Ifrane, we’ll see the tall Atlas cedars and stop to feed the friendly wild monkeys near Azrou. After a lunch break in Midelt, we’ll pass through the Ziz River Valley, where the scenery gradually changes to a desert landscape as we approach Er-Rachidia.

• Overnight in a Hotel in Merzouga Desert

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Merzouga before we start a 4x4 adventure. We’ll explore the Moroccan Sahara Desert, visit local Berber nomads, and discover the old mines of M'fis. Then, we’ll head to Khamlia village for Gnaoua music entertainment and take a lunch break.

You’ll have the afternoon free for optional activities like buggy or quad rides. Before sunset, we’ll go on a camel trek to our luxury desert camp, where we’ll spend the night enjoying drum music around fire and listening to local Berber songs.

• Overnight in a Luxury desert Camp

We will wake up early to watch the sunrise over the beautiful, quiet sand dunes. This moment will be one of your most memorable experiences in Morocco and one of the highlights of your Morocco 9-Day Tour.

After breakfast, we’ll head back to the village of Merzouga and continue our journey to Dades. On the way, we’ll stop in Rissani to explore the souk, one of the biggest local markets in the area, and visit the “fossil factory,” where you can see many fossils from this rich region. After about 3 hours, we’ll stop for a panoramic photo near the charming town of Tinghir, located in a large palm oasis. Next, we’ll visit the famous Todra Gorge, where we can take a walk and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, we’ll continue our journey to the amazing village of Dades.

• Overnight in Dades

Today, we will take a short drive to Dades Gorges and then continue to Ouarzazate. We’ll pass through Mgouna, where the rose festival takes place every year. Ouarzazate is often called the “Hollywood of Morocco” because many historical films were made here. We can visit Kasbah Taourirt, one of the historical sites, and also stop by a Cinema studio

Next, we’ll drive a short distance to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This place attracts many visitors because it was featured in Game of Thrones. After spending about an hour there, we’ll head to Marrakech, driving through the highest Atlas Mountains at Tizi n-Tichka, which is 2,260 meters high. This drive takes about 3.5 to 4 hours, not including stops. We’ll make photo stops along the way to enjoy the beautiful views of green river valleys, adobe villages, and the ruins of ancient kasbahs.

Afterward, we’ll arrive in Marrakech, where you can rest in the Riad and enjoy some free time.

In the eighth day of our Morocco 9-Day Tour, enjoy a delicious Moroccan breakfast at your luxury riad before going on a private tour of Marrakech. As one of the former capitals of the Kingdom during the reign of three dynasties of Moroccan sultans, the city boasts numerous museums and architectural landmarks, each a masterpiece in its own right. The entire morning will be dedicated to exploring these sites, including the Koutoubia Mosque, the Menara Pavilion surrounded by olive plantations, the tombs of the Saadian sultans, the Bahia Palace (a fine example of palace architecture), El Badi Palace, and the Majorelle Gardens. After lunch, you’ll visit Morocco's most vibrant market and the famous Jemaa El Fna square—a real open-air theater, where you'll encounter snake charmers, healers, sorcerers, and merchants selling fruits and exotic spices

• Overnight in Marrakech

On the last day of our Morocco 9-day tour, depending on your flight departure, you will have time for shopping for Moroccan souvenirs before going to the airport. You can depart from either Marrakech or Casablanca airport.
